The Cotton Loft, is located in the centre of the traditional Derbyshire village of Litton, described as 'a little gem of a White Peak village, set in glorious countryside'. Just a short stroll up the road is the Red Lion, a fine old inn serving real ales and a good choice of food. The community-run village shop stocks all your essentials, and with its pretty greens, old stocks and charming cottages, Litton evokes the true essence of the Peak District.
The studio is situated above and to the rear of the new detached limestone garage, next to the owners' house. Downstairs is the mini kitchenette area, perfect for breakfast, pre-prepped meal or a light bite, and adjacent to this is the shower room - the living/sleeping area is upstairs via 11 steps. Sleeping arrangements are on the 'NEW FOR 2020' comfy double bed (rather than the prevoius sofa-bed), with 2 'scandi-style' chairs to chill out on! There is a TV and dvd player, and free wi-fi for your use, and a small foldable bistro table/chairs for 2 to dine at. All bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery are supplied, and there is off-the-road parking space for one car and secure storage for bikes, walking, caving and climbing equipment if required.
Tideswell is 1 mile away, within walking distance, and has a Co-op, ATM, doctors surgery, chemist, post-office, several lovely cafes/bistros, and pubs.
